Masks, Hearts, and Minds

Above is an official picture from the Basque separatist group ETA, Euskadi Ta Askatasuna, in Spain. Note the masks. Masks are crucial for making public statements while keep identities secret and, when done right, have a propoganda effect of their own. Look at the two militants on the right, those horrible ghouls of inhuman rage. It would be best to just give them what they want. Now look at the guy on the left- he looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost. In terrorism, the shape of your eye holes make all the difference.
